Dancing With the Stars - More Kiss

'Dancing With the Stars' results: Kisses and a dance duel

Gavin DeGraw, who was at the bottom of the pack going into the results show and who has been in jeopardy almost since Day 1, faced off against Jaleel White. Each prepared a cha-cha. They danced side-by-side. The judges were basing their decisions "purely on the quality of the dances they're seeing right now." Oh, the drama!
The judges yakked about the two for a minute, offering criticism and praise for both. In the end, they saved Jaleel White, sending Gavin DeGraw home. "It's been amazing to be part of the show," he said, thanking his family and fans. Next week, the show will feature a Motown special.

Grammy-winning Train came to the stage, singing their upbeat “Drive By” while Louis Van Amstel and Cheryl Burke killed it on the dance floor. Fellow “DWTS” perennial Selena Gomez and the Scene appeared as well, with a performance of her fizzy pop single “Hit the Lights” (boyfriend Justin Bieber, meanwhile, appeared on “The Voice”).
The Macy’s Stars of Dance performance kept with the Latin theme, with a “hot celebration of Latin dances” choreographed by Liz Imperio featuring stellar drumming by percussionist Sheila E. It was a fiesta that started with great big flying capoeira leaps and had ladies in bright dresses with lots of fringe and bounce and one dancer in particular with a red feather headdress so massive it later threatened to consume her.

It was such a great day to have met all the celebs and see them dance during dress rehearsal. Everyone did better than in rehearsal, which is not the norm. I’m worried for Gavin and Melissa tomorrow when I look at the dancing and how the personalities come across, but after Sherri Shepherd’s surprise elimination it just goes to show you that “Dancing” is about so much more than just dancing well.

Meanwhile, Maria and Derek shared yet another kiss on the dance floor, but this time, it didn't go over so well with the judges, who thought that it was a "cheap trick" for the talented pair.
And then there was Gavin, who knew that his lame samba wasn't going to go over well with the judges even before he stepped off his boat. However, I don't think he really cares about what the judges think.

'Dancing With the Stars': Maria Menounos and Derek Hough kiss for real this time

"I don't think you needed the kiss. I think that was a sell-out," says Carrie-Ann Inaba, though she and the rest of the judges gave the pairs 9s across the board for a total of 27.
Kiss or not, though, Maria and Derek have insane chemistry together. The barely-there costume and a shirtless Hough helped sell that sex appeal, though their rehearsal footage shows they can get goofy too.
After Menounos took a spill and hurt her chin -- when Hough adorably shouted "baby!" before making sure she was okay -- the pair made sure she wouldn't suffer another injury. Menounos emerged swaddled in bubble wrap. Hey, that's one way to do it!
